Behind every one of our ‘heroes’ fighting around the world, there are proud and anxious families left behind. In My Soldier Son, we meet Jaspal whose son, Mandeep, is a Lance Corporal in the British Army. Jaspal’s story goes to show that, emotionally, mothers too are finding themselves ‘living on the frontline’.
