Five films made in five weeks in Hackney, London
The What’s Your Story? training and production series has just completed it’s second exciting phase with over 12 filmmakers aged 16-21 years old, taking part in the Hackney based Young Documentary Voices initiative. Led by DFG, participants took part in training sessions which spanned just 5 weeks (between February – March 2011). All of the young filmmakers have learnt how to use video cameras, record sound, and develop their own ideas – together they have created 5 super-short films about each other’s stories.
This event will bring all the Young Documentary Voices participants together to view their completed films for the very first time. You are warmly invited to join DFG at:
Hackney Central Library on the evening of Monday 11 April and celebrate the achievements of this crew of young filmmakers.
Event starts at 6.00pm (screening will begin at 6.30pm).
More about the films to follow.
